Spectacular Vintage Silver Repousse Photo Album-MUST SEE THIS

Spectacular Vintage Silver Repousse Photo Album--MUST SEE THIS!! There is a repousse silver plaque that covers the entire front cover. Wonderful repousse design with cherubs, flowers and ornate shapes and swirls. In the center of the front cover there appears to be a large, ornate engraved "M" and the name Kate Daintry, Oct. The silver repousse covering is thin silver. I was unable to find any markings, but it may be marked on the reverse.

I do not know if it is sterling silver or silverplate. I refused to have it tested on the front surface for fear of damage.

I believe it is sterling silver, but I WILL NOT GUARANTEE IT and consequently I will consider it to be silver plate for the purposes of providing item details. The repousse silver is largely intact--but there is some slight damage as seen in my photos.

The endpapers are moire silk, and there is a large pocket for photos inside the front cover. There are 24 blank pages made of high quality, high fiber content paper. There is some staining to the blank pages as seen in my photos, and one page has apparently been torn from the book. The album appears to made of leather. There is some scuffing to edges and some staining/discoloration to rear cover.
