RARE SWEDISH Antique Christmas Gnome. RARE SIZE! MUST See! TOMTE

Years ago I remember going to a ladies house and it was FILLED with Swedish antiques- incredible things. She had a room upstairs that was all Old Swedish Christmas decorations- a room she left up year round.

In this room I remember seeing much, much smaller examples like the one I have listed- I remember them because of the beautifully, hand-painted facial features. This guy is HUGE- measuring about 17 tall and a foot across. He holds onto a kettle in one hand and a large stirring spoon in another. His body is soft construction then wrapped in colored crepe- surprisingly for his age he is in great condition- I think its because he was stored away for so many years.

Here's a little side note- Swedish Christmas Tomte figures of this size are UBER RARE. You simply don't see them.

Little figures- 5 and smaller I see. He's a Killer example. I would date him from the late 20's into the early 30's. YOU WILL LOVE HIS FACE.
