Rare S. A. Jones & Co Hartford Ct. Slide Boxwood Rule Ok Condition Must See

I don't know much about this maker. But i do know that he made carpenter tools between the years of 1838 and 1841.

This rule does need some restoration. It seems like everything is there. I can't get the slide rule part to work i don't clean tools i sell them as i get them don't want to ruin the value of the tool.

There is some damage to the wood were the pin is. It has both pins one is bent alittle.

Other wise i think this tool would be a good starter for a collector or someone who wants to restore it and use it. Make me an offer i can't refuse.
