Dr. Ralph Bunche 1st African American Nobel Peace Prize Must See
WE ARE PLEASED TO OFFER FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION. A desirable SIGNED PHOTOGRAPH of Dr. Bunche was a political scientist, academic and diplomat. He was the winner of the 1950 Nobel Peace Price for his late 1940's mediation in Israel.
He was the first such Black American to be accorded the prize in the history of the Nobel. SP - Signed Photograph: 5"x7" black and white, matte-finish, formal portrait, signed on the lower white mount, adding "With Best Wishes". Bunche was involved in the formation and administration of the United Nations.
In 1963 he was awarded the Medal of Freedom by President Kennedy. This is a color glossy character still from "Prospero's Books" signed in blue marker pen.Image measures 8"x10" and is in very good to fine condition. The UK Independent described Ginsberg as one of the great trinity of actors, together with Ralph Richardson and Laurence Olivier, who dominated the British stage for much of the 20th Century.
