Size: Pipe is 6-3/4" Long x 1-3/4" Tall x 3/4 Thick. Glen Pollard was born in 1957 in Haida Gwaii, British Columbia, formerly known as the Queen Charlotte Islands. He currently resides in Skidegate, located on the southeast coast of Graham Island, the largest island in the Haida Gwaii archipelago.A self-taught carver, Glen has worked with argillite. He is noted for his inlay work creating small totem poles, pendants and sculptures.
His contemporary pieces use simple motifs and are finely executed with elegant form lines. Glens sister, Shirley Longboat, is also a noted Haida carver.
