Antique Circa 1815 - 1820 Chauncy Ives Pillar & Scroll American Parlor / Mantle Clock. These clocks were made and could only be afforded by the well to do or wealthy people of the day. This example has a plantation owners home with what is likely the slave quarters in the depiction. Operating Condition - This clock did operate properly for several hours, the minutes kept good time and striker also functioned as intended. Please understand I don't know the last time this clock has been serviced if ever, and service MAY be needed for long term optimal operation.
