Antique 1911 -1918 Uk Vulcan Radiator Mascot Hood Ornament Art Deco Must See

Rare Vulcan brand of British Cars & Trucks Radiator Mascot. Vulcan was the roman "God of Fire", the blacksmith and artists for the gods. 3.5" (90mm) tall x 2 3/4" (70mm) base width.

This is a very early solid nickel example from a car. Grinder marks on the bottom show it is solid nickel, the size and single mounting hold indicates it was from a car.

Later ones were made of brass and chrome plated, most were larger to fit on commercial trucks (2 hold mounts) and not as detailed as this early piece. Please contact me with any questions.
