William Reinbold Artist Signed Carved Pair of Cardinal Birds Lamp Must See
This is an odd estate find! I couldn't believe when I saw that this lamp had been made from William Reinbold's famous wood carvings of two cardinals. The lamp doesn't work, but the art is still so beautiful and worthy of display. If you are the crafty, handyman type, you probably could re-wire the lamp, or perhaps remove the lamp parts all together and use the base as a stand alone display for this truly beautiful work of art.
The glass that was probably over the birds is missing. Could use a good cleaning, but I'm no expert when it comes to artwork such as this and would be remiss if I damaged it with my clumsy fingers. I have no idea how much the lamp is worth, but do know that Reinbold's birds are famous the world over.
